Dating from the 1920's a lovely black tulle panel embroidered in coloured silks generously embellished with gold metallic threads in a pretty floral/leaves and gold polka dot design, scalloped picot edge. Colours : red, pink, greens. blues and gold on a dense black ground..
This type of textile usually has some fade, not this piece, the colours are vibrant. There is one careful old inset repair 1 7/8" x 4" though generally there is a large quantity of fabulous period lace here in excellent usable condition. Suitable for many antique dress or textile projects. Shown on both dark & light background so you can see the detail, next to last pic shows the reverse and the neat repair.
