Antique Turkish embroidered fragment well worked in coloured silks and gold metallic threads. Good clear colours : mainly gold, pinky red and a little lilac & viridian, the metallic threads are gold - all on a fine cream cotton gauze ground. Detailed work covering most of the piece, lots of beautiful stitching. The whole is a decorative delight. Very small amount of colour transference onto the gauze see little flowers otherwise there are no holes, tears or stains, overall this period piece is in very good condition.
