Antique Turkish embroidered fragment well worked in coloured silks. Good clear colours : blue, pink and brown on a cream coarse linen ground c1880.
Detailed work & excellent stitching, hand hemmed all around. The reverse is shown in the last picture. All I can see are three small stains, see picture of the whole panel. Click on any image to enlarge, otherwise there are no holes, tears or repairs. Generally this period piece is in very good substantial condition, would make an ideal pillow front.
