A set of six decorative shaped mats with decorative edges, all hand embroidered entirely in gold metallic threads embellished with beetlewings on an ivory cotton gauze ground. Lovely unfaded colours dark green and a little red. This would be good for applique or to frame. No tarnish or missing stitches, uncut & unused so in excellent pristine condition.
Each mat measures - 5 1/4" x 5 1/4", whole piece :18" x 12 1/2".
