Very beautiful late 20's early 30's long honey coloured cream silk velvet wedding dress train embellished with glass bugle beads and faux pearls in a floral design with silver lame lining. Drapes like a dream, the fabric is beaded both long sides and a wider panel at the base with differing shaped faux pearls and beads in a sinuous floral design. Pintucked at the top and still has the little hooks where it was held onto the wedding dress at the shoulders.
This top quality luxurious fabric would have been expensive to buy then as now, if only you could find it. I believe there is enough here to make a stunning dress - 9ft x 2 ! or can be used as originally intended. This belongs in a museum, certainly one of a kind.
Generally in excellent usable condition except for some tarnish to the silver lining. Measures : 14.4" narrowest at top, 34" wide at the bottom and most of the length, 108.4" long. This is very heavy.
