A beautiful black silk bobbin lace parasol cover, probably Beds. Maltese. Scalloped edge all around, there is a little point at the top -circa 1900. Most likely from the Edwardian era though may be a little earlier. This has been stored for decades and looks unused. Made up from two wide circular pieces of lace and all ready to mount on your favourite parasol. This would look as stunning over a vibrant colour as it would over cream. I can see a couple of loose brides but generally this lovely lace is in excellent usable condition.
Measures - 23" diameter, excluding point, 13" deepest.
