A very beautiful good quality dark gold metallic lace dress trim embellished with coloured wood beads Bohemian style circa 1910
Great texture - 2 D effect, an intricate design early 1900s design on this lovely metallic lace - note the plaited shapes. Three sizes of beads are used in jewel colours : purple, orange and greeny blue to decorate the metallic lace. I estimate only four of the smallest beads are missing and though there is a little fade to the wood beads it is no more than one would expect from a trim of this era. There is a slight curve to the top edge, I expect this was used at hip level on a fabulous dress, a one off piece. Overall this is a gorgeous trim is in excellent usable condition suitable for many antique textile projects.
