A very large embroidered pale orange hand knotted fringes silk shawl c1920. Some may call this apricot, I think pale orange is more accurate. Embroidered by hand in an exotic floral design. Embroidery silk colours are many shades of pink, green, blues, red and white, the stitching looks as good on the back as it does on the front. Subtle and beautiful, the shawl feels soft to the touch and hangs well. Shows an elegant exotic flower design. There are no holes, repairs or rot. A couple of very small faint marks see last pic, these are not very ovious and may dry clean out. Otherwise this unusual shawl in excellent wearable condition.
