A very large embroidered pale orange hand knotted fringed silk shawl c1920. Some may call this apricot, I think pale peachy orange is more accurate. Embroidered by hand in an exotic floral design. Embroidery silk colours are many shades of pink, green, blues, red and white, the stitching looks as good on the back as it does on the front. Subtle and beautiful, the shawl feels soft to the touch and hangs well. Shows an elegant exotic flower design in each corner extending to wide borders and smaller sprigs in the centre. There are no holes, repairs or rot. A small break in the knotted fringe & a couple of very small faint marks like last pic, these are not very obvious and may dry clean out.
