A mid 1800's glazed chintz fabic depicting a pretty design of peacocks, flying birds, butterflies, flora and trellis - printed in vibrant colours, three shades of pink, dark green, blue and taupe on an off white ground. This lovely period textile is unused and remarkably still has its glaze. This would be perfect for archive or cutting for cushions.
Condition : there are a few small nibbles out of this, I presume moth, three are 0.7" long but only 2mm wide, the rest are pin size or not much bigger than a pin size. Otherwise the fabric is strong and in very good substantial condition, still lots of usable fabric here. If you need more info please feel free to email.
Measures - 31.4" long x 74.4" long.
