Fine decorative 19c needlepoint panel has been well worked by hand mainly in wool with some silk on a cotton canvas ground. A paisley floral design shows a flower within each paisley boteh all in good clear colours. The ground colour is slightly darker on one side of the piece which adds to the decorative appeal of the needlepoint. A bit shabby chic. The last pic is folded over to show the reverse side. Condition : I can see four missing stitches but only visible when held to the light, otherwise an interesting little period piece in very good usable condition, all ready to make up into a pretty cushion/pillow.
