A beautiful handstitched pieced quilt all light furnishing, dress cottons & chintz in many vibrant unfaded colours very well constructed and designed, from the north of England, cream reverse. c1850
This large quilt is shown on a 4' 6" double bed, I took the picture from the bottom of the bed. Neat diamond shaped quilting, nice and flat, all in very vibrant colours, lots of blue and red, obviously a family heirloom that has been well taken care of.
I can't find anything amiss. This fabulous antique quilt has some beautiful fabrics and overall is in very good to excellent usable condition.
