An interesting antique turkish sash end panel all hand worked in coloured silks embellished with gold tinsel & silver metallic. Beautiful needlework, each square section is different, all in good colours : apricot, light green, blue and cream and a generous amount of gold & silver metallic threads. Some slight expected fade to silk colours & some tarnish to the silver metallic generally this little antique textile gem is in very good usable condition or for use as a study/teaching aid.
Embroidered part measures : 8 inches x 7 3/4 inches, whole piece is 30" long x 7 3/4".
