This must have been part of a wonderful dress. Wonderful clear colours woven in plum silk gauze, blues, green & red heavily embellished with gold metallic threads.
Very decorative the fabric shows a geometric art deco inspired stylised flowers and leaves design. No tarnish, stains or repairs, there are scattered small holes in the gauze which are not very obvious see pic 4, definitely worth the effort of backing.
