Very attractive period painting very well done in soft pastel in good quality period frame. Subject - girl sitting at dressing table looking at her mirror. Harmonious colours mainly pinks and blues. I think the signature reads Constante. Set in a handsome good gold colour gessoed wood frame which is well shaped with integral filet - a few knocks and scrapes, nothing serious, still very good condition. Back paper is torn but there is an exhibition label dated 1920. The pastel is in excellent condition.
Measures - 12.2" wide x 13.2" + frame 2" wide, 1.3" deep, 16" x 17".
