A well constructed long tunic dress in pale blue semi transparent fabric. Edwardian styling, close fitting and waisted with an attached narrow self belt with a pretty off centre bow and Beautiful gossamer silky cotton damask has an iridescent glow, the fabric feels soft to the touch and has a small meandering floral design.
The dress has been well made, lined to the waist in blue cotton sateen, boned to centre front, fastening with hooks and loops and press studs to close the top skirt. Meant to fit close to the body, this is a shapely garment, infinitely wearable if you can fit into it could be worn alone or with a long skirt or jeans. Clear glass bugle bead trim to front V insert, front & back neck and hem, 1.4" long glass seed bead fringe trim to hem and sleeves.
No bead loss holes rips or tears, I can see a couple of small light stains to the lining and very slight fade to back of the dress which is not very noticeable. Generally this lovely period dress is in very good substantial condition.
