A gorgeous Canton jacket embroidered in many harmonious colours & shades of blue & greens, coral, turquoise, spearmint, orange, peach, pink & cream. The floral embroidery is executed by hand in unfaded coloured silks on substantial medium weight black silk satin. Lovely allover embroidery, showing figures, buildings, gardens, trees, birds of paradise, butterflies and exotic flora, excellent shading. Simple styling with a pointed collar. One centre front loop & black silk covered button to close, the button could be moved closer to the edge for a more loose fit, depending on your size. The jacket is well made, inset long sleeves, slight bell shape, a plain black silk satin lining. Looks fabulous on.
Condition : A few plucks to the embroidery stitches and a small white mark to the lining ONLY - Nothing to detract at all from the beauty of this gorgeous period jacket. Generally I would rate the condition as excellent & wearable. If you want more pictures or information please feel free to email.
