A beautiful early 1950's vintage dress by Anna Ltd, 155, Knightsbridge. SW1.
The dress hangs well and as you can see from the images is very flattering in wear. Fully lined in cream silky fabric with boned bodice, low back.There are two full length wide floaty shaped pieces of the same design fabric, lined in blue, attached to the back and a blue silk velvet trim to the bodice. A great painterly flora design all in vibrant unfaded colours : many shades of green, pink, blue with black & white on white ground. A 17 ins long zip at centre back to close.
All I can see is a short tear on one strap at the top of the shoulder and the odd tiny mark on the dress though generally this top quality dress is in excellent wearable condition. Click on any image to enlarge. Really small size, I doubt larger than UK sizes 6 maybe 8, measures - waist 24", bust 33" or maybe 34" if bust pads are removed, hips 38", 59" long.
