Hand worked silk embroidered mat with scalloped pinked edge. Excellent embroidery and great shading, this is somewhat faded but charming, the last picture shows the reverse. The black wool felt is a true dense black. All I can see is a pinhole in the felt on the edge, otherwise in good substantial condition. Would look good as a cushion centre.
