An antique ladies parasol/sunshade on wood stick by Hoyland's - British make, with large spot design on an ochre colour ground c1920.
Lovely fabric, a good quality textured cotton with a slight texture to it see pic five, has a small squares design, a bit like seersucker. The parasol opens and closes well, has eight strong metal spokes, a ruched same fabric handle grip, a wood ferrule and smooth ball handle, marked inside by the maker.
I can't find anything wrong with this great usable parasol, there is no loop and button to fold nor any evidence that there was one. The sunshade looks unused and is in excellent condition. A great period piece that would be useful for film/theatre prop, use or display.
Measures : 33.4" total length, ferrule 5.6", 31.5" diameter opened.
NB :Overseas shipping cost is affected by parcel dimensions over 60cms length is much more expensive to ship. If I have overestimated cost I will refund .
