Gorgeous 1930's long cream silk satin wedding dress cut on the bias with a pointed train lined in ruched silk chiffon over a padded edge by Jayne of Eastbourne.
This beautifully contructed dress is hand finished, long sleeves buttoned at the cuff (5)with pointed shape, more self covered buttons to centre back waist and a weighted cowl collar. Made from luminous silk which drapes really well. This top quality luxurious fabric would have been expensive to buy and make up to this high standard, if you are small enough to fit into this you will be very fortunate indeed.
One small faint brownish speckly mark at the front, not at all obvious, in a place which could be covered by a corsage, a tiny little mark, a missing button at the wrist and a vague watermark on the train. Nothing serious at all. I have not had this dry cleaned though generally this one of a kind fabulous wedding dress is in excellent wearable condition - worn once and stored well.
Measures : Please note this is for a tall slim woman, a very small size : 24" waist, 34" bust, 34 hip, 57" long front, 116" long to tip of train back. Narrow at wrist 6",17" sleeve long from underarm, 19" arm opening. The dress is heavy, if I have overestimated overseas post costs the buyer will be refunded.
The photograph of the original bride and two veils ( I think these are silk tulle) are included with the dress.
