A large vintage patchwork unlined quilt, many small 6 sided shapes well contructed by hand - each piece is only 1.7" wide. Excellent vibrant unfaded colours set in a striking geometric design, many stripes, checks, plain colours, tartan with some paisley and florals. The reverse is shown in picture 5.
A winter weight quilt, mainly made from medium weight wool dress fabrics with some cotton, sateen and mixes. There is much work in this decorative vintage quilt top. Typicall for this type of Quilt showing some damage to several pieces, see pic 4. but otherwise this striking vintage bedcover is in very good usable condition.
