A rare and unusual elaborate embellishment for a bodice, decorated with coloured glass & steel beads in many different shapes & sizes, gold metallic, coloured metallic flower shapes & silk ribbon. The piece has two identical sides, is lightly tacked on to a cream cloth backing, see reverse in the next to last image. Unfaded vibrant colours are mainly in shades of green and pink. See the illustration of how this is to be worn at top centre. This is new old shop stock, never been used. A one of a kind period costume piece.
Nothing missing or damaged, in excellent usable condition.
Measures 18" longest from top corner, each side is 10" widest.
